1st time here and they have earned a regular! Reggi is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. He is the gem of this location. Definitely will continue to come back for the top tier food and service.

I had the pleasure of being served by one of the best bartenders I’ve come across in a long time. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. Not only were the drinks perfectly mixed—balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but he knowledge of the menu and ability to recommend something based on our preferences was impressive. First time here, discovered this restaurant via TikTok. Being new to the area and on the hunt for good Mexican food or tacos, this place hit the mark—specifically for tacos. We were greeted warmly upon entry, and the beautiful decor really stood out. Jordan, our server, was friendly and did a good job managing multiple tasks. The margaritas were just okay—more juice and ice than a balanced drink, so I’d rate them 6/10. This restaurant operates in a semi-self-service style: you can place your order at the bar or counter, receive a table buzzer, and pick up your food when it’s ready. It’s not a full-service restaurant, but there’s plenty of seating inside and on the patio. I didn’t love how limited and strict the shared patio space was with the neighboring restaurant. As for the food, I ordered a pollo taco, which was delicious—9/10. The barbacoa taco, however, was dry and lacked balanced flavor, so I’d give it a 6/10. The elote was perfectly made, especially with the crunch and spice of the Hot Cheeto crunch topping—10/10. The dip trio was also fresh and enjoyable—10/10. Buena Vida catered my husband's retirement party. There was more food than we could eat for half the price of other caterers. Everyone commented how delicious everything was. It was delivered and set up quickly. I would highly recommend Buena Vida to anyone planning an event!

Excellent first time at Buena Vida! Staff were amazing (hi Reggie!), the vibes were immaculate. The food was top notch; try the beans, you will not regret it. Pastor and barbacoa were both tender and flavorful, and the birria was on par with specialty birria spots ( you will want to drink a thermos of their consomme). Can't wait to go back and try the mole - it looked delicious!

My recent visit to Buena Vida was delightful! Starting off with a Paloma, I was impressed by the fresh flavors and the perfect level of tanginess—it was a fantastic introduction to the meal. For lunch, I chose the special that included two tacos accompanied by rice and beans. I had a chorizo breakfast taco and a shrimp taco, both of which were packed with flavor and expertly assembled. My friend ordered the three trompo tacos and rated them a 6 out of 10. While my friend enjoyed their meal, I was thoroughly pleased with my choices! The service was excellent—quick and friendly. The unique ordering system allows you to seat yourself after placing your order, which added to the casual, welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, Buena Vida is a cute spot that I highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious tacos and a great vibe!

Dropped in for the Trompo fries and Margaritas. The whole place was a VIBE!!! The music, the service, the food...Reggie and Talli were amazing working the floor, speaking to customers, and making sure everyone was satisfied. Great food is always better when paired with AMAZING customer service. Thank you!

The place is beautiful... The nachos were great. The tacos not so much. They added all these onions, pineapples on top of the tacos I ordered and my daughters tacos. They might want to put that stuff to the side in case we didn't see all that on the menu. We were picking at the food because we didn't want to send it back. I personally did not like the may course. I will try it one more time in case I like something else but the tacos were a NO for us. I took pictures of the food but cannot locate them. Maybe next time.
